    Job Description Summary

    The People & Culture Business Partner will provide strategic direction and support in creating an outstanding employee experience. Residing in the U.S. and working primarily with leaders and employees in the U.S. and in Australia, the Business Partner will assist in all human resources functional areas, including culture, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, talent reviews, and hiring/selection. Reporting directly to the Director, People & Culture for Group/Corporate Functions, the Business Partner will deliver outstanding service in support of Aristocrat’s focus on both employees and innovation.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Provides HR leadership across strategic initiatives by partnering with leaders to examine the people impacts of exploring new business opportunities or creating existing efficiencies/growth plans.

    • Balances the People & Culture focus on strategic requirements by examining various impacts of change, such as organizational design, workforce planning, culture, and overall governance of human resources management.

    • Manages all employee relations matters for assigned leaders in order to mitigate legal or cultural risk for the company -- performance; illness; injury; structure.

    • Assists to recruit and retain high quality talent within the business; helps leaders implement strategies to increase employee retention.

    • Works with the Talent CoE team to identify high potentials within the organization and assist with their development planning.

    • Ensures the business has a clear learning and development focus for the fiscal year, and, in conjunction with the Talent CoE, helps develop materials and resources to address capability gaps.

    • Acts as a trusted advisor working with leaders on their succession plans at multiple levels within the business; anticipates workforce issues and is proactive in developing plans to ensure effective workforce continuity.

    • Support organizational design initiatives to align capabilities with the business priorities to ensure continuous improvement and structural evolution.

    • Support the Remuneration and Benefits team with the implementation of the annual remuneration review process; help ensure global mobility is conducted in a fair and standardized manner.

    • Work with Remuneration and Benefits to regularly review the effectiveness of the recognition program, provide assistance and support as required.

    • Help leaders identify opportunities for changes within their groups. Support them through the change by providing sound business recommendations considering talent and business requirements.

    • Lead the action planning process and implementation of successful strategies to address any issues identified by Aristocrat’s global employee survey.

    • Be willing to adjust work hours to accommodate global time zones and meetings when needed to support global business leaders.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in human resources generalist or similar role.

    • Strong knowledge of generalist human resources best practices and/or expert knowledge in one or more human resources functional areas.

    • Commercial acumen to deliver thought leadership to the local and global business.

    • Ability to develop and implement HR programs and procedures.

    • Excellent organizational skills, including an ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.

    • Relationship management and influencing skills.
