Software Development Engineer

PAY RANGE

$86,380-$160,420

SUMMARY

We're looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our team at Aristocrat's Las Vegas Summerlin campus. You'll be involved in the full SDLC for a large suite of established end-to-end products as well as contributing to the development of reusable components and frameworks. You will also be able to work on, and help choose the technologies used for, entirely new products. Our primary programming language is C#, but we also develop with SQL, C++, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, HTML5, and more. This role will be expected to provide technical leadership for our entire range of products and technologies. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and develop high-quality software applications and services.

• Thrive on a global Agile Scrum team.

• Elicit and clarify requirements from internal and external stakeholders.

• Lead change for continuous improvement.

• Eliminate and prevent technical debt.

• Mentor junior developers.

• Support the game studios.

• Support the operations team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field

• 3+ years of professional software development experience

• C#, .NET Core, SQL, HTML5, PowerShell, bash, XML, JSON, WCF, SQL Server, SQLite, MongoDB

• Object Oriented Software Design, Design Patterns, and UML

• Windows and Linux experience

• Strong soft skills and business acumen

PREFERENCE:

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies

• Graduate degree

• Experience with Online Gaming, Network, or Cloud Space is a plus.

• Working knowledge of Python and JavaScript is a plus

THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION THAT REQUIRES 3 DAYS ONSITE.
