    SUMMARY

    The Supply Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and developing tools in support of Aristocrat’s operations. This person will be analytical and quantitative in nature and have the ability to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. The role is responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support supply chain planning and operations. This position gathers data and conducts analysis with the goal of improving the organization's supply chain operations. The ability to identify underperforming areas in the supply chain, suggest improvements or resolutions to problems, understand requirements and translate them into supply chain tactics will be critical to success. This person will utilize analytical tools, effective reporting, and presentation skills to identify trends, report on performance, and optimize supply and demand. The role will participate in recurring planning and replenishment calls with internal and external customers as well as Initiate cost and time saving processes to ensure maximum efficiencies.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop supplier, industry, technology and manufacturing process understanding to support planning and analysis strategies.

    • Gather and interpret relevant data to determine optimal supply strategy, create supply plans, investigate challenges, root cause assessments, and recommend solutions.

    • Analyze end of life and new product introduction impacts to supply plans and propose last time buys.

    • Develop and support regular performance and metric reporting for key stakeholders.

    • Direct supply delivery timing and collaborate on inventory expedite requirements.

    • Support supply strategies and respond to changing forecasts to maintain inventory targets, improve efficiencies, and maintain/improve forecasted costs.

    • Develop presentations and lead discussions with internal and external partners and stakeholders.

    • All other duties as assigned.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • 3-5 years of experience in supply planning, purchasing, or related function, preferably in an advanced planning system.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Business, or a related field, or its equivalent, preferred.

    • Has the ability to meet changing demands and to adapt to frequently changing priorities. 

    • Global supply chain experience with a technology company a plus.

    • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, required.

    • Some experience with SQL and relational databases desired.

    • Possesses good problem-solving skills to address work-related issues and problems.

    • Ability to effectively communicate across cross-functional teams.

    • Ability to prepare, present and clearly communicate solutions to both supply chain and commercial audiences. 

    • Passionate, self-motivated, and enthusiastic, continuously seeking ways to achieve excellence.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
