    Description & Requirements

    Maximus is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry and Mail Processing Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of eligibility-related documents and mail. The ideal candidate will have experience in document imaging, data entry, and interdepartmental coordi nation. This position supports both day-to-day operations and strategic planning by analyzing mail trends and helping forecast workload needs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    - Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming eligibility related forms and processing of mail.
    - Process outgoing mail. Images inbound documents into imagine system based on standard operating procedure.
    - Perform data entry of information from documents as required.
    - Coordinate data entry of returned mail. Scanning and linking of documents that are processed in the imaging department.
    - Work closely with various Maximus departments to coordinate archiving of documents for offsite storage.
    - Analyze and summarizes mailing data to produce mail reports that include trends of incoming mail and project spikes in workload for call center, mail room and data entry.

    Minimum Requirements

    - High School diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience.
    - May have additional training or education in area of specialization.
    - Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
    - Communicates more complex information, using job experience to anticipate and proactively address related questions.
    - Ensured accurate and timely processing of incoming eligibility forms and related documents.
    - Handled all incoming and outgoing mail operations, including scanning and imaging documents into the internal system following SOPs.
    - Performed precise data entry from physical documents and coordinated data entry of returned mail.
    - Scanned, linked, and archived processed documents in coordination with the imaging department and offsite storage teams.
    - Analyzed mailing data to generate reports, identifying trends and projecting workload spikes for mail room, call center, and data entry teams.

    Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
