    Description & Requirements

    Maximus is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to support compensation strategy across more than 10,000 corporate and field employees in over 1,500 roles. In this role, you'll partner closely with HR and business leaders to conduct market pricing, ensure FLSA compliance, review job structures, and provide equitable salary recommendations.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    - Review job descriptions and make edits to align with the internal job leveling guide.
    - Ensure new positions are FLSA compliant and conduct routine FLSA audits on existing positions.
    - Conduct ad-hoc market pricing to support promotions, requisitions, and the commercial bid.
    - Provide internal equity analysis and salary recommendations in response to requests for new positions, new hires, and/or retention situations.
    - Participate in key compensation surveys and maintain the job matching booklet.
    - Provide consulting services to the HR business partners on Corporate compensation policies, programs, and processes.
    - Support the Compensation Director with the development and implementation of new compensation programs.
    - Work with the Compensation team to streamline processes and improve data quality.

    Minimum Requirements

    - Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in data analysis, job description, market pricing and survey participation.
    - Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to HR and compensation.
    - Able to use Excel at an intermediate level to write formulas and create visual charts.
    - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    - Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
    - Strong customer focus and problem resolution skills.
    - Must have excellent attention to detail.
    - Workday experience and Mercer Job Library experience preferred.

    Pay Transparency

    Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
