THIS IS A PAID INTERNSHIP Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience and education The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable marketing intern to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our recruiting and retention goals. Your work will include developing, growing, and expanding our marketing channels through web, social media outreach and strategic planning. As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing, human resources, and advertising teams in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment. Connect With Us! #Work4ArapSO / ArapahoeSO Duties Responsibilities Support the marketing team Assist in the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content Create and maintain tracking reports of digital and traditional marketing efforts Assist in the development of new social media campaigns, considering current and planned promotional activities. Monitor social channels and respond to feedback, questions, and concerns Assist in planning and staffing of recruiting events Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns Prepare promotional presentations Help distribute marketing materials Manage and update agency database and customer relationship management systems (CRM) Help organize marketing events Requirements Requirements Current enrollment in a related BS or Master's degree program Strong desire to learn along with professional drive Strong work ethic Solid understanding of different marketing techniques Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent knowledge of MS Office Data entry Flexible work schedule Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords) Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices Supplemental Information YOU MUST PROVIDE A CURRENT VALID EMAIL ADDRESS FOR APPLICATION STATUS NOTIFICATIONS APPLICANT DISQUALIFICATION FACTORS: Applicants are advised that areas for disqualification from further consideration include, but are not limited to, the following: Illegal Drug Use.
