This is a part-time, 3-month appointment with the possibility of immediate growth . Athletic Republic is the leading performance sports training gym located in the city of Santa Ana, California. We have been featured on the NFL Network and just recently helped assist John Ross in breaking the 40 yard NFL Combine Record. Summary of Responsibilities: This individual will help coach all aspects of the men's and women's performance programs while working with the Assistant Director of Training. The Intern Performance Coach is responsible for providing athletes with technical instruction for training and competition. The Intern Performance coach is expected to work together with the other coach/es to ensure the health and safety of the athletes during training sessions. He or she is also expected to assist in ensuring the increased performance of each athlete and cooperate with administration in promoting the Athletic Republic or Orange County to increase enrollment. Minimum Qualifications: Working towards Bachelor's Degree or Masters; coaching experience at the high school, club, or intercollegiate level; ability to learn and comply with training performance rules and guidelines; excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Willingness to learn and grow; coaching experience, playing experience; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
