InterMetro Industries is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Manufacturing facility located in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing techniques to drive plant reliability, control equipment performance and consistently achieve high standards of Maintenance program performance. This position will implement lean methodologies and suitable courses of action to proactively drive plant and equipment reliability.  We are looking for someone who is driven, assertive, enjoys leading a team and having an impact on the organization, contributing to an innovative company, and managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plans, organizes and directs maintenance operations to improve the reliability of our manufacturing operations by creating a culture of excellence, a robust TPM program and driving a high level of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) performance. Manages maintenance resources including labor, materials, and vendor services to continually improve productivity.
2. Oversees the utility systems within the facility, including power sources, climate control, water and lighting. Ensures all systems are working at optimum efficiency.
3. Partners with Operations Management to develop annual capital and maintenance expense budgets; manages controllable costs against budget and in relation to changes in production or volume. Has full responsibility for planning, monitoring and managing departmental budget.
4. Supervises/schedules maintenance team, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts, emergency responses and projects. Helps resolve technical issues or repair procedures as required.
5. Ensures maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with Quality policies, as well as in accordance with company Safety practices and related local, state and federal safety / environmental regulations.
6. Coordinates & supervises contractors as needed. This includes purchase order creation, MRO activities, and completing appropriation requests.
7. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Associate degree in Engineering or related field
2. 5+ years of experience in the area of Industrial Maintenance
3. Working knowledge of continuous improvement and lean techniques in Engineering/Project/Facilities Management.
4. Must be proficient in diagnosing/troubleshooting equipment failures while using root cause analysis and other problem-solving techniques and methodologies.
5. Must understand and support continuous improvement objectives by applying Lean manufacturing techniques, TPM, OEE and Poka Yoke to current state environment.
6. Working knowledge of OSHA regulation with the ability to support and maintain ISO certified quality systems and related functional elements.
7. Must be highly motivated, innovative and results and objective oriented with good interpersonal and leadership skills.
8. Excellent communication and analysis skills
9. Sound decision making and reasoning ability

• A CURRENT COMPTIA SECURITY+ IS REQUIRED
• Experience supporting Windows desktop/laptop PCs
• Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PCs
• Experience installing software, patches, updates on computers
• Experience troubleshooting basic computer and printer problems
• Customer Service Experience a must
• Some technical college education preferred
• Experience with Outlook a plus
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Clearance (Active Secret Clearance is a plus)
