All Case Managers must meet minimum qualification standards. The minimum qualifications for Case Managers are a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or related service/science or health care related disciplines and one (1) year of experience providing case management services (internship experience applicable). Where necessary and appropriate, a Case Manager without a bachelor’s degree can meet minimum qualifications by substituting at least two (2) years of work experience in a social service and/or human service field. Certification and/or licensure in relevant discipline (e.g., certified addictions counselor) may also substitute for educational requirements.
