About Our Job This internship is an opportunity for an enthusiastic
learner eager to expand their understanding about all aspect of Real
Estate and provide support in all phases of the real estate projects.
This internship will collaborate and work with a few internal and
external contacts while supporting the DEN Real Estate Division. Some
key areas of support may include, development and market research, space
planning, development and analysis, vendor management, project schedule
and event tracking and data management. Research topics may include
airport and airport city experiences and uses, specific market
typologies such as air cargo market. This opportunity is available from
June 4th August 10th 2018. This is a part-time internship with the
potential to work up to 39 hours/week. As an intern, you will be
responsible for: * Document new standards or processes and keeps
documentation updated, ensuring appropriate version control and
compliance with retention schedules * Assist in researchers, benchmarks
and make recommendations in support of various departmental strategic
initiatives * Shadowing various planning and development meetings *
Process includes data entry and scanning of documents and information
sales force system for record keeping * Knowledge of DEN competition and
how that relates to the expansion and perform basic market research *
Assist with budget development, procurement methods, and tracking *
Provide support in scheduling and preparing for meetings * Help with
preliminary design and planning, may include site visits * Identify and
analyze new opportunities within the team projects * Attend and observe
various business development and planning meetings to understand the
business process and implementation of projects * Maintain Salesforce
database * Other projects as assigned About You Our ideal candidate will
have/be: * Master's student in Business, Construction Management whom
has 1-2 years working experience * Strong oral and written communication
skills * Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple assignments, and able
to work independently * Experience in MS office suite, specifically MS
excel * Proven successful in working in a team in a collaborative manner
- Ability to analyze and interpret data * Mature business acumen *
Passion and interests in the real-estate industry * Self-starter, quick
learner * Ability to navigate complexity and tenacity to solve complex
