About Our Job The Denver International Airport (DEN) is currently accepting applications for Airline and Commercial Property Management Internship for a duration of 10 weeks. This opportunity is available from June 4th August 10th 2018. This is a part-time internship with the potential to work up to 39 hours/week. Throughout the internship, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects and be involved with projects which will affect real changes at DEN. You can get hands-on experience solving business needs and helping in the development and procedures of new and existing programs. The intern will work directly with two different teams within the Revenue Management Division, Commercial Properties, and Airline Affairs. The Commercial Properties team manages a diverse portfolio of real estate assets and land programs including oil & gas, easements, farming, office, wireless, retail, and rental cars. The Airline Affairs team manages the relationships with the airlines operating at DEN. This includes executing and managing leases and operations space in the Terminal and Concourses, cargo buildings and other airline support facilities at DEN. The internship experience will incorporate a combination of hands-on experience, mentoring from experienced DEN professionals as well as practical projects based on the DEN team goals. As an intern, you will be responsible for: * Implementing the standard operating procedures of each real estate asset to ensure best practices and compliance with contractual obligations * Conducting research and market studies regarding other airports to understand how we can improve operations and maximize use of DEN's properties * Inputting and organizing data needed for various projects * Researching, interpreting and presenting report data findings to various levels of the team * Creating power point presentations for various project and team meetings * Attending various meetings with stakeholders to understand needs and challenges of various projects * Communicating and collaborating with others to identify solutions to problems * Developing and presenting recommendations to DEN based on research and data findings from various projects * Conduct annual real estate inspections with DEN staff and commercial property tenant's representatives * Completing inspection forms and photos for reports and communications * Tracking responses and resolutions from tenants following inspections * Conducting research projects as needed About You Our ideal candidate will have/be: * Working towards a degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Economics, Agriculture, Environmental, Land Management, Law or a related field * An interest in commercial real estate and or airline industry * Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
