About Our Job This is an internship position with an expected start date of June 4, 2018, and end date of August 10, 2018. The Training and Exercise Design group manages the Denver International Airport's Multi-Year Training and Exercise Program. This position will join a work unit that plans and conducts on average 30 exercises each year. This includes discussion and operational based exercises designed to evaluate DEN's emergency response, continuity and recovery plans for all types of events. Additional administration duties will include: * Data entry in Word and Excel documents to include assignments of actor roles and simulated injuries * Assist with the development of briefing materials in Word and PowerPoint to present to DEN stakeholders * Assist with completion of exercise registration packets and materials * Assist in the development and execution of table exercises (Tornado, Train, Community) * Help develop training programs for DEN About You We are looking for personable, team oriented, and collaborative intern with strong listening to join our team for the summer. In addition we are looking for the following skills and experience: * Strong organization and project management skills * Experience with Adobe Learning Suite or Captivate 9 * Strong MS Office Skills * Concentration in Emergency Management, Educational Design, or Adult Education * Experience with Computer Based Learning We realize your time is valuable so please do not apply if you do not have at least the following required minimum qualifications: * Completion of two years of college and current enrollment in a college program leading to a Baccalaureate Degree in a professional field specific to the departmental and/or work assignment. * Some positions require possession of a valid Driver's License at the time of application About Everything Else Classification Title: We call this job a Emergency Management and Instructional Design Intern, the official job classification title is Professional Occupations Intern II.
