    Control System Security & Infrastructure Internship City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County 131 reviews - Charlotte, NC Part-time, Temporary, Internship The individual selected will work closely with Charlotte Water IT and plant staff in the lifecycle management of the plant control systems. Duties include: inventory,research, documentation, and ongoing support and maintenance. The position will provide a part-time schedule during the school year and up to forty hours each week during the summer. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and in good academic standing. Preference for students enrolled in a program leading to a degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or other computer oriented technical degree. Applicant should have excellent communication skills, basic programming or scripting skills, basic networking skills, and a basic understanding of cybersecurity practices. Applicant must be willing to work in a hot and noisy environment.
