The garden is considered a living museum with over twenty theme gardens containing more than 2,500 native and exotic species of plants in 110 acres of gardens and natural settings. Job Description The City of Fort Worth is currently recruiting to hire 3 part-time Public Events Attendants to perform work assisting with programs and activities. The positions will work primarily with weddings in the Botanic gardens. The selected candidates will set up chairs at various wedding locations, stanchion off the area, greet and direct guests, tear down and store chairs, perform various maintenance and custodial duties, i.e. sweep, mop, wax, polish, scrub and vacuum floors and carpet; dust and polish furniture and counters; collect and remove trash; clean and maintain restroom facilities within Garden Center. The work days will primarily be Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays. This position does not offer benefits. QUALIFICATIONS: H.S. Diploma or GED is required and no experience.
