Recruitment Human Resources Analyst Duties and Responsibilities Oversees the City's recruitment and selection program and onboarding efforts; leads recruitment and selection activities for all regular full-time and part-time City positions including internal and external opportunities and interim assignments Supervises and partners with an Administrative Analyst who will manage the recruitment and selection activities for all Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal (PTS) positions Partners with hiring managers to understand the role of their vacant positions, the needs of their divisions, and the challenges of their recruitment efforts; identifies effective recruitment strategies; implements approved recruitment plans Develops recruitment materials and manages selection efforts based on the needs of the position including drafting job bulletins; prepares interview questions; creates technical exercises; develops marketing strategies; screens applications for knowledge, skills, and experience; and maintains and updates recruitment databases Facilitates interview panels, including identifying interview panelists; trains panelists on laws, policies, and practices pertaining to recruitment; orients panelists to help them understand the needs of the position; and leads discussions to determine the strengths and weaknesses of candidates interviewed Assists Administrative Analyst to partner with managers to facilitate and coordinate the summer hiring process for hundreds of lifeguard and camp counselor seasonal positions Oversees the background check process including contacting references; verifying education, certification, and licensing requirements; conducting Livescan fingerprinting; sending candidates for physicals; and communicating salary and benefit options Communicates interview results to candidates not selected for positions and provides feedback to employees Trains and coaches employees; presents organizational trainings to help supervisors and managers understand their role in the recruitment process; provides individual coaching for employees to assist them in identifying career goals, developing plans to help them reach their goals, and teaching them how to effectively communicate their skills and experience during interviews Responds to inquiries regarding employment opportunities with the City and resolves difficult and sensitive issues Manages the City's onboarding efforts to successfully acclimate new employees into their positions Performs other human resources responsibilities as needed including creating and updating job descriptions; managing position control; and performing classification and compensation studies Recruitment Administrative Analyst Duties and Responsibilities Assists Human Resources Analyst with recruitment and selection activities for all full-time positions Under supervision of the Human Resources Analyst, this position will lead recruitment and selection activities for all Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal (PTS) positions including the seasonal recruitment process, selection, and onboarding of City lifeguards and camp counselors Develops recruitment materials and manages selection efforts based on the needs of the position including drafting job bulletins; may provide mock interviews and resume review for internal employees Responds to inquiries regarding employment opportunities with the City and resolves difficult and sensitive issues Will assist with onboarding efforts to successfully acclimate new employees into their positions Performs other Human Resources responsibilities as needed including assisting with classification and compensation research Training and Development Administrative Analyst Duties and Responsibilities Assists with coordinating, organizing, and facilitating employee development and training programs including, but not limited to the Mentoring Program, Job Shadowing Program, Lessons Learned sessions, Information Sessions, Supervisor Series, and Leadership Academy Researches content and assists with development and modifications to Citywide trainings Develops and maintains organizational communications such as Citywide announcements, monthly calendar updates and weekly emails to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources Assists with measuring training programs to ensure they are meeting the needs of employees and the organization; modifies programs as needed Monitors training and development budget to ensure proper use of funds; tracks training participation using the training database Coordinates bi-monthly employee information sessions designed to increase employees' organizational awareness;
