SALARY: $131,248 to $167,492 annually

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under general direction of the Manager of Operations, this position is responsible for the management and operation of the Parking Meter section’s activities related to a citywide program for the installation, removal, and maintenance of the approximately 28,000 parking meters spaces and overseeing the section’s machine shop.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
SUBSTITUTION: __
Additional qualifying experience installing, maintaining and repairing parking meters, other traffic control devices or equivalent work (i.e. street maintenance, traffic sign installation/repair, etc.) may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis (30 semester units/ 45 quarter units equal one year).
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
The stated desirable qualifications may be used to identity candidates advancing to the interview process and/or to identify job finalist(s) at the end of the selection process when referred for hiring.
