Job Description
MAJOR, IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES Your duties as an ISTP participant may include, but are not limited to, the following:

NOTES: The position may require sufficient physical strength and coordination for lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying the weight of computer systems equipment. The position may also require the following: bending, stooping and/or crawling to install or repair computer systems hardware, hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity for taking apart casings, installing parts and reconnecting computer systems hardware. Depending on location the incumbent may be exposed to or affected by extensive VDT exposure.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: There are no minimum qualifications for this classification. Open to anyone who is interested in entering in the IT (Information Technology) Field.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: The stated desirable qualifications may be used to identify job finalists at the end of the selection process when candidates are referred for hiring.

SELECTION PROCEDURES: The selection process will include an evaluation of applications in relation to minimum requirements. If this becomes necessary, only those applicants whose qualifications most closely meet the needs of the Department will be invited for an interview.
