Job Description
** APPOINTMENT TYPE:** Temporary Exempt, Full Time appointment not to exceed three (3) years – This position is excluded by the Charter from the competitive Civil Service examination process and shall serve at the discretion of the Appointing Officer.
Annual Salary: $136,162.00 - $171,288.00 annually

Under the direction of the SIITS Program Management Office (PMO) Director, this position is responsible for working as a member of a project team and performing business & system analytical tasks related to project management and project support. This position may perform a wide variety of tasks representative of all phases of project management for a software development or of the system development lifecycle (SDLC) for a software implementation. This includes various tasks such as; requirements definition/analysis, assistance with software configuration, data analysis and cleansing, data migration, system testing preparation and execution, technical documentation, requirement gathering, business process analysis and workflow mapping, fit-gap analysis, reports and presentation development. This position will require managing contracts, developing invoices, tracking payments and developing and reviewing reports for accurate reimbursement of contract related funds.

Qualifications
_ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:_
1. An associate degree in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units [i.e., at least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in computer science or a closely-related field]; AND
2. Five (5) years of experience in the information systems field, including system analysis, business process design, development and implementation of business application solutions or IT project management.
_ Substitution:_
Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years). One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units / forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in computer science or a closely related field.
_ DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS :_ Additional skill requirement beyond MQ. Can be used as criteria to score applicants for interview selection.
