Job Description
Under general supervision, performs skilled worked identifying, installing, maintaining, adjusting, repairing, fabricating, rebuilding and replacing lock cylinders, combination locks and other institutional hardware. The essential functions of this class includes:
NATURE OF WORK: This position requires considerable bending, kneeling, crouching, and lifting of objects up to 51lbs. This position also requires lifting and moving doors weighing up to 120 lbs. using lifting equipment and the ability to precisely work with objects 1/8" in diameter.

APPOINTMENT TYPE: Temporary Exempt. This position is excluded by the Charter from the competitive Civil Service examination process and shall serve at the discretion of the Appointing Officer. The duration of the appointment shall not exceed 3 years.

SALARY: $88,790 - $107,926 annually
