Job Description
The PEOPLESOFT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR is responsible for the administration, maintenance, patching and troubleshooting of the application of both PeopleSoft Enterprise applications and Oracle Business Intelligence applications. Under the PeopleSoft administrator side, it does include the maintenance and synchronization of the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management, PeopleSoft Enterprise Learning Management, and PeopleSoft Interaction Hub applications running under Linux and Windows OS. The designated PeopleSoft Administrator will work closely with the Database Administrator (DBA) to ensure the availability of both PeopleSoft and OBIEE databases and application processes. Works in close collaboration with the PeopleSoft and OBI development teams and as well as Infrastructure and network teams as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Candidates may work individually or as a key member of the PeopleSoft Administration team. This position will oversee and monitor performance across several PeopleSoft applications, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
An associate degree in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units [i.e., at least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in computer science or a closely-related field].
EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years of experience analyzing, installing, configuring, enhancing, and/or maintaining the components of an enterprise network.
SUBSTITUTION:
Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years). One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units/ forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in computer science or a closely related field.
