Job Description
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Under general nursing and medical direction, utilizing standardized procedures, the Nurse Practitioner functions within an organized system for the delivery of health care in association with other members of the multidisciplinary health care team and performs specialized nurse practitioner duties in clinical settings.
Essential duties include but are not limited to all or some of the following:

Adult Medicine NP positions working on the Inpatient Medical-Surgical Units
Inpatient Orthopedic NP positions working on the Inpatient Orthopedic Team

Minimum Qualification Supplemental Questionnaire (MQSQ) (Weight: Qualifying): Candidates who meet minimum qualifications will be invited via a separate link to complete the MQSQ as part of the online employment application. This MQSQ is designed to obtain specific information regarding an applicant's experience in relation to the Minimum Qualifications for this position. Applicants must also complete the official application. It is essential that applicants provide complete information in identifying their education, experience and training. The MQSQ will be used to evaluate if the applicant possesses the required minimum qualifications. Please provide proof of your licenses and certifications by uploading them to your application.
Training and Experience Evaluation/Supplemental Questionnaire (SQ) (Weight: 100%): The SQ will be sent to those qualified candidates who demonstrate they meet the minimum qualifications. Candidates will be required to submit the completed SQ in the time frame indicated and responses on the SQ cannot be changed once submitted. A passing score must be achieved on the SQ in order to be placed/ranked on the Eligible List. Candidates will be placed in rank order according to their final score on the SQ. After the confidential eligible list/score report is adopted, the department may administer additional selection procedures to make a final hiring decision. The SQ is designed to measure knowledge, skills and/or abilities in job-related areas that have been identified as critical for satisfactory performance in this position. All relevant experience, education and/or training must be included in the application to be reviewed during the scoring process. The department may administer additional position-specific selection procedures to make final hiring decisions.
Eligible List Duration: The list resulting from this examination process will be 6 months.
Certification Rule for the eligible list resulting from this examination will be Rule of Ten Scores.
