Open Data Program Manager, DataSF (1054)
Job Description
As the Data Program Manager, you will report to the Chief Data Officer and help City departments integrate their various data streams into the City's open data platform, define and develop approaches to managing data quality, solicit feedback regarding data usability, and assess demand for new data. You will contribute to a strategic and evolving approach to the use of data in the City by helping to shape and define improvements that enable internal data sharing and publishing.
You will think strategically about how data standardization and data access can contribute to the City’s commitment to equitable and ethical service delivery and analytics. In collaboration with departments, you will identify data gaps that hinder policy development, performance monitoring, effective reporting, scenario planning, and equity analysis. You will work closely with the Chief Data Officer to identify ways the data platform and wider DataSF services can help fill those gaps.

Qualifications
1. An associate degree in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units [i.e., at least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in computer science or a closely-related field]; AND
2. Five (5) years of experience in the information systems field, including system analysis, business process design, development and implementation of business application solutions or IT project management.
Substitution: Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years). One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units / forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in computer science or a closely related field. COMPENSATION: $129,376 - $162,734 annually
