    Job Description

    The Office of the Assessor-Recorder is seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to help build the team’s internal capacity to support our new assessment system. The new system, SMART, is currently being built by our System Integrator, Publicis Sapient. The position will be responsible for collaborating with the Publicis Sapient team, the ASR IT Team and our Operations staff to turn business requirements in an optimal Salesforce application technical solution.

    Expected essential duties for this position may include:

    a)     Design, develop and deploy custom developed Salesforce application and integration.

    b)      Lead and help develop Internal IT team to support and enhance custom developed Salesforce application and integration.

    c)     Coach and review Salesforces application modifications by recently trained Salesforce analyst and developers.

    d)     Maintain flows, data validation, Apex code and other Salesforce processes already developed/deployed.

    e)       Develop a deep understanding of integrations already developed/utilized by our Salesforce org as well as assist in implementing, maintaining and updating new and existing integrations.

    f)      Respond and troubleshoot custom developed Salesforce application in a production environment.

    g)     Continuously review and optimize Salesforce security configuration and setup.

    h)       Provide oversight of/provide input to review Quality Assurance (QA) test cases, scripts for accuracy and relevancy.

    i)       Provide feedback for updates to ensure proper QA testing is conducted.

    j)      Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education: An associate degree in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units [i.e., at least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in computer science or a closely-related field].

    Experience: Five (5) years of experience in the information systems field, including system analysis, business process design, development and implementation of business application solutions or IT project management.

    Substitution: Additional experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years). One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units / forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in computer science or a closely related field.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Certified Advanced Salesforce Administrator  
    • Apex and Visualforce development experience 
    • Working on Salesforce integrations with OmniChannel and SmartComm experience 
    • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Advance Roadmaps and Capacity Tracker 
    • 3 - 5 years of Salesforce project development experience 
    • Salesforce certifications – Advance Administrator, Platform Application Builder and Platform Developer 
    • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST & SOAP API, JSON & XML, etc.) 
    • Experience implementing custom objects. 
    • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, etc.

    SALARY RANGE: $61.89-$77.85 Hourly / $10,727.00-$13,494.00 Monthly / $128,726.00-$161,928.00 Yearly
