This position is a temporary, unpaidposition for undergraduate students in support of the Durham Police Department. The student intern will have the opportunity to receive a realistic depiction of what the Police Department does on a daily basis. Also, it will help the student develop and determine where their career interest may lie while earning college credits. Duties/Responsibilities: Student interns will get to experience different units such as: * Ride along with uniform patrol * Criminal Investigations * Crime Analysis * Community Services * Forensics Minimum Qualifications & Experience: * Must be at least 18 years old. * Enrolled in an accredited 2 or 4 year academic institution and classified as a sophomore, junior or senior. * Enrolled in a Criminal Justice or Forensic Science related field of study.
