Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) serves approximately 31 million people a year. PHL has approximately 800 City employees and over 20,000 employees in total. The PHL’s largest employer is American Airlines which is also the airport’s .

PHL is looking for a Maximo Asset System Administrator. The candidate will be responsible for working closely with end users for account issues, assisting with reporting tools, conducting daily administration duties within Maximo and Oracle, and working alongside Job Control to assist with other needs.

This candidate would be a key contributor to an established team responsible for working with end users and interfacing with technical staff. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who is able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will utilize best practices and will conform to client enterprise architecture, available products, and development methodologies.

Essential Functions

• Manages the functionality and efficiency of Maximo.

• Sets up user accounts.

• Maintains system documentation.

• Interacts with users.

• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

• Programs in an administrative language.

• Develops and implements testing strategies and documents results.

• Provides advice and training to end-users.

• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

• Participates in special projects as required.

• Ability to configure Maximo GIS

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of configuring IIS, WebSphere, and Maximo Asset management suite, Spatial and Anywhere Extensions

• Knowledge of querying and configuring Business Intelligence Reporting Tools (BIRT) Reports

• Knowledge of administering and configuring Oracle

• Knowledge of creating and modifying BIRT “ad hoc” reports.

• Must be an experienced IT person, specifically a DBA, which requires the understanding of relational databases.

• The person in this position must also have an understanding of data processing concepts and techniques.

• Must have MINIMUM essential SQL programming language skills.
