Job Description

The project will consist of digitally enhancing (crop, georeference, and mosaic) historic maps and aerial imagery for use in City specific applications (Atlas, OpenMaps, etc.) and for public access through ArcGIS Online.

Essential Functions:

• Obtain and organize historical maps and aerial imagery
• Georeferenced images, creat complete mosaics, and create cached maps in ArcGIS Online
• Document project methodology and progress

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Basic experience using ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Pro
• Experience with digital image manipulation

Qualifications

• In-progress or complete undergraduate degree
• Basic knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Pro
• Experience with ArcGIS Online is a plus

Additional Information

Internship is for six months.
