Group Violence Intervention (GVI) Peer Retention Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and talented individual to coordinate program services and community outreach initiatives and quality assurance/contractual compliance for Philadelphia’s Office of Violence Prevention’s Community Crisis Intervention Program (CCIP). This position will also be responsible to assuring that CCIP is in compliance, and will report to the Director of Programs and Community Outreach (DPCO).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Peer Retention will be responsible for the oversight, coordination, and quality assurance of CCIP. In addition, the role(s) of this position may include, among others, the following duties:

Applicant should have experience in social work, case management, education, criminal justice, juvenile justice or an appropriate equivalent. Applicant should have experience in working with and between different systems. Applicant should have excellent leadership, conflict resolution and communication skills. Experience in working with community organizations/agencies and high-risk populations strongly preferred.
OR
Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable that has included the completion of a graduate’s degree program and the specific experience.

Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000
