Job Description
This is specialized work functioning as a personal aide to a member of The Civil Trial Division, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, judiciary. Important aspects of the job involve assistance to courtroom operations, ensuring dignity is provided in the courtroom and accompanying the appointing judge to all public functions and performing various other duties as assigned. An employee in this class is directly responsible to and serves at the discretion of the appointing judge.

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Graduate of an accredited law school (current 3Ls are eligible to apply).
2. Demonstrated commitment and experience beyond civil coursework is highly desired.
3. City of Philadelphia residency required within one year of employment and maintain residency throughout your employment.
4. Strong legal research and writing skills; attention to detail; organizational skills.
5. Ability to perform the essential functions and work in the environment for the position.

SALARY: $39,541 - $43,333 (G14)
