Court Administrative Officer Trainee - Juvenile Victim Services
Job Description
Position Summary:
This is beginning level professional position developing knowledge and technical skills in activities related to juvenile justice victim advocate services.
Employees in this class participate in various phases of rights and services to victims in the juvenile justice system outlined in the Crime Victims Act, PCCD Consolidated Standards and Juvenile Court Procedural Rules. At this level the employee receives increased responsibility and progressively expanding caseload as their training and experience increases.

Standard office, clerical, and courtroom conditions. Direct contact with diverse court clientele.

Work-Life:
Working hours are 40 hours per week. This is a full-time, in person position with the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
OR
2. Equivalent combinations of desirable training and experience providing the characteristics required to perform the essential functions of the class may substitute.
3. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
4. Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred.
5. If the bilingual candidate is able to successfully complete pre-employment testing in that regard, they would commence employment at Step 2 within the pay range for the job classification. An individual applying for the bilingual position should indicate same in the application.
6. Covid- 19 vaccination recommended.

Salary Range: $43,207 - $47,350 (G14)
