Roosevelt Boulevard Project Coordinator
Job Description
The City of Philadelphia seeks a highly motivated, flexible, collaborative, and independent project coordinator with excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical skills to join OTIS in the role of Roosevelt Boulevard Project Coordinator (Boulevard Project Coordinator). The Boulevard Project Coordinator will be involved in the implementation and execution of the vision for Roosevelt Boulevard, as set out in the Route for Change report (2021), to transform one of the most dangerous roadways in the City and in the Nation. Through their work they will ensure coordination and successful execution of a program of projects aimed at turning Roosevelt Boulevard into a safe, accessible, and reliable roadway for all users. This position will support, but is not funded by, a major $78m MEGA grant from USDOT to fund a wide range of improvements to the corridor. The position will also support the long-term planning work for the Boulevard, which is currently being advanced by PennDOT, the City, and other partners.
The Boulevard Project Coordinator will be required to work with project managers, planners, engineers, and other professionals all tasked with leading an array of projects on Roosevelt Boulevard. The Boulevard Project Coordinator will lead the City’s involvement in and coordination with an array of other agencies – including PennDOT, SEPTA, and more – to execute this vision to improve one of Philadelphia’s most critical roadways.
The Boulevard Project Coordinator is responsible for advancing the goals set out in the Route for Change report during the entire lifecycle of the project plan with complete, accurate and current data points and results. To do this, they will be responsible for tracking and coordinating an array of projects, coordination with outside agencies on their delivery of related projects, overseeing consultant planners or engineers, and coordinating and communicating as needed across different stakeholder groups.
The Boulevard Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating multiple efforts to move work on Roosevelt Boulevard forward and in a timely manner. They must be able to identify any gaps and implement plans to increase efficiency and operations within the project lifecycle.

Working hours are generally 37.5 hours per week. Our team is currently hybrid with both virtual and in-office days, however the position can opt to come in the office each day if desired.
