Community Resource Corps (CRC) Recruitment Coordinator
Job Description
The Community Resource Corps (CRC) Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for successfully coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, retention, and experience of AmeriCorps members involved with the Community Resource Corps, a citywide program designed to connect residents to essential benefits and life sustaining resources. This position will assist with securing outreach opportunities like tabling, resource fairs, community meetings, etc. This position supports the broader Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity (CEO) Place-Based Initiatives Unit and supports in identifying best practices to apply more broadly across the CRC, CEO, and AmeriCorps.

AmeriCorps works with communities and supports a variety of public-private partnerships and governmental collaborations to address local challenges through service.
Pennsylvania’s state service commission, PennSERVE, is a grantmaking partner of the AmeriCorps agency. PennSERVE awards approximately $12 million in federal funding from the AmeriCorps agency to AmeriCorps programs in Pennsylvania. PennSERVE supports the Community Resource Corps directly in AmeriCorps program development and implementation through targeted training, technical assistance, and monitoring.

Essential Functions
This position works in-person with availability for flexible hours including evening and weekend hours. This position works five days a week Tuesdays to Saturdays, typically from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Saturdays would be worked offsite, whether at community events, or conducting outreach initiatives in Philadelphia communities. A valid driver’s license is required in this role, as the CRC Recruitment Coordinator may be asked to conduct site visits, and drive City vehicles to events with CRC staff and/or CRC Members. Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000
