Legal Clerk II - Electronic Monitoring Unit, PreTrial Services Dept., Criminal Trial Division
Job Description
GENERAL DEFINITION:
This is an entry-level, union represented, administrative/clerical position tasked with providing support to the Pretrial Services Department, specifically assigned to the Electronic Monitoring Unit. The selected candidate must be able to work varied and non-traditional shift assignments during weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Primary responsibilities will be data collection and input while assisting with interviewing contacts for individual's court-ordered to Electronic Monitoring: processing and verifying residential information to be submitted to the Electronic Monitoring Field Unit. Document all contact information: utilizing Pretrial Case Management System (PTCMS), SharePoint, and Microsoft Excel.
As with any entity within the First Judicial District, the Pretrial Services Department may be called upon to ensure the performance of essential duties or functions as deemed so by administrative and governing bodies, which may result in an individual being available to perform essential tasks during court closures and/or non-traditional hours.
