Job Description
Position Summary:
The position is responsible for assisting the Streets Commissioner in ensuring the functions within the Streets Department fulfill their core missions. This includes leading strategic and high-priority cross-divisional initiatives to coordinate activities through senior managers throughout the department, and acting, on behalf of the Commissioner as assigned during meetings. The position also assists in supporting effective engagement of Streets Department staff with other public and private sector stakeholders. Key activities include strategic planning, policy and program development, internal and external partner engagement, and administrative management.
The Chief of Staff reports directly to the Streets Commissioner and works collaboratively with other key Streets Department staff members, including the Deputy Commissioners of Transportation and Administration.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $146,176
