Job Description
Under the direction of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Information Security Administrator is responsible for operations and maintenance of security infrastructure, systems and networks across City technology platforms. This position provides supporting functions to the Security team at the direction of the CISO.
The Information Security Group is looking for an Information Security Administrator to contribute to the development of the OIT’s information security program. The preferred candidate will be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment and will have a strong interest in the current security landscape, resources and threats affecting large municipal government networks.
This role will be multifaceted supporting ISG and focusing on areas such as security awareness training, project, documentation, and risk management. Applicant should be teachable and willing to assist as needed in a highly functional, fast paced environment.

Qualifications
• At least ~3 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) field and working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.
OR
• Equivalent work experience, interest in pursuing cybersecurity certifications, and a strong desire to work in the field.
Additional Information
Salary Not to Exceed: $70,000
Starting salary to be determined based on experience and qualifications.
