    Job Description

    Position Summary:

    An intern assigned to the Training and Development unit will develop five career readiness skills:

    • Written and oral communication.
    • Leadership capabilities.
    • Teamwork.
    • Problem solving skills.
    • Strong work ethic.

    Essential Functions:

    • Must be available to work in the office 3 days out of the week, days may vary.
    • Must have basic computer and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; if not, you must be open to learning.
    • Assist in daily tasks such as recording attendance at training sessions and workshops, documenting training records, entering data in a learning management system.
    • Open to learning advanced skills such as organizing data in Excel using pivot charts and advanced formulas.
    • Assist with training sessions and workshops, including but not limited to:
    • Creating PowerPoints presentations.
    • Sending emails and creating calendar invites for the Training & Development team.
    • Performing clerical duties; maintain files, organize documents, photocopying, etc.
    • Set up, break down training room.

    Work-Life:

    Summer 2024 Full-Time hybrid schedule at least in office 3 days per week; Monday – Friday, day may vary.

    • High School Junior or Senior.
    • Latest transcript required
    • (1) Letter of recommendation
    • Must pass and maintain SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) and if applicable, AOA (Airfield Operations Area) clearance.
    • Applicants aged 18 years and older must complete a medical assessment, including a drug test.
