Exercises functional supervision over assigned staff. At the Department's discretion, the Work Location and Work Days/Hours may be subject to change. Essential Job Functions * Oversees and/or supervises court-mandated (juveniles and adults) and volunteer programming to remove graffiti on City-owned and private property. * Performs data entry of Daily Unit Reports. * Educates the public via community meetings, educational booths, etc. on the Graffiti Abatement Program. * Performs cleaning using pressure washer. * Responsible for graffiti removal using various methods to include painting over the surface with roller, brush or paint sprayer as well as chemical application. * Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required. Job Requirements * High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency). * Two (2) years of experience in labor or maintenance. * This position requires a valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License OR valid driver's license from another state with the ability to obtain a valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Use of your own personal vehicle may at time be required and proof of Liability Insurance will be required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Knowledge of field operations. * Excellent Customer Service Experience. * Experience pulling trailers up to 18'. * Ability to use paint sprayer and pressure wash. * Knowledge of chemical usage for graffiti abatement. * Outreach experience and public speaking.
