    Description & Requirements

    Maximus is seeking a Clinical Quality Assurance Analyst to support the Iowa Core Standardize Assessments (IA CSA) Program .

    In this role, the Clinical Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for evaluating the quality, accuracy, and consistency of medical and behavioral health assessments through data collection, quality audits, and trend analysis. The position utilizes proprietary QA tools to review clinical determinations, assess scoring alignment, and report on performance outcomes. This position also supports continuous quality improvement efforts by developing reports, identifying trends, and providing quality-focused guidance or training to staff, as needed.

    This is a full-time position that is fully remote in the US.

    Position is contingent upon contract award.

    About the Program

    The IA CSA (Iowa Core Standardize Assessments) will conduct clinical assessments for individuals seeking enrollment into all Iowa Medicaid Waivers or to conduct clinical reassessments for Medicaid Waiver Recipients.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    - Collects data related to assessments and assessment outcomes

    - Completes quality audits utilizing proprietary QA Tools

    - Reviews QA data and reports on trends and scores found through the quality audits

    - Analyzes recommended scores in relation to Clinical Assessor determinations

    - Develops / completes reports that track and trend activities / outcomes

    - May provide QA training to staff to incorporate quality measures into their daily practice

    - Performs other duties as may be assigned

    Minimum Requirements

    - Education and licensure requirements are based on program contract requirements and are outlined in job posting

    -Two (2) or more years related experience

    - 2+ years previous work experience in Quality and Risk Management in a clinical setting conducting peer reviews preferred.

    - Strong working ability with all forms of technology, ability to navigate multiple systems, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, ability to learn and adapt to new technology quickly; exceptional analytical skills; detail and solution-oriented; ability to work independently as well as with a team; excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.

    - Bachelors degree in Human Services, Social Worker, or related health field

    - Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human services field

    - Familiarity with behavioral health diagnoses, psychotropic medications, and medical diagnoses.

    - Knowledge of diverse cultures with the ability to incorporate special needs into decision making.

    - Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications

    - Strong organizational skillset and ability to multitask

    Preferred Requirements

    - Master's degree in Human Services, Social Worker, or related health field

    - Experience conducting medical and/or behavioral health assessments

    - Familiarity with Person First standards and HIPAA compliance.

    - Additional certifications related to social work, healthcare, or human services are a plus (Licensure not required.)
