Inspects dealer locations for compliance with state and federal regulations, Checks manufactured housing installations; investigates consumer complaints relating to manufactured housing. Prepares technical reports of mobile and manufactured homes as well as recreational vehicles in the south/eastern territory of the Commonwealth. Inspects facilities under construction using approved plans to ensure compliance with applicable building codes. This position covers 21 counties. Work counties consist of: Clark, Montgomery, Powell, Menifee, Lee, Wolfe, Morgan, Elliott, Lawrence, Johnson, Magoffin, Breathitt, Owsley, Leslie, Perry, Knot, Floyd, Martin, Pike, Letcher and Harlan. Unique Physical Requirements : Must be able to bend, crawl, stoop and climb to perform inspections.
