    Job Description

    Position Summary

    Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Branding, the Copywriter will be responsible for writing and editing text content for marketing and promotional materials in a variety of formats. This position which will help translate the overall vision and creative direction of the department into easily digestible and engaging content with the goal of increasing commercial revenue within the Airport and associated businesses. The incumbent will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Branding, as well as other members of the marketing strategy team to formulate and coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials. This is a professional, non-supervisory position.

    Essential Functions

    Content Creation & Strategy

    • · Conceptualize and write clear, persuasive, and compelling copy aligned with brand strategy and business objectives.
    • · Develop content for multiple platforms, including websites, emails, social media, advertising campaigns, print materials, presentations, and internal communications.
    • Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, communications specialists, and external partners to ensure brand consistency across all channels.

    Brand Voice & Messaging

    • Ensure consistent application of brand voice, tone, and style guidelines in all written content.
    • Assist in developing, refining, and maintaining brand messaging standards to enhance clarity, relevance, and engagement.

    Editorial Planning & Management

    • Maintain and manage editorial calendars, ensuring timely and strategic content distribution.
    • Collaborate with the creative team and stakeholders to coordinate content requirements, revisions, and approvals.

    Research & Trend Analysis

    • Conduct research to understand target audiences, market trends, and industry developments.
    • Utilize insights and analytics to refine messaging, optimize performance, and identify opportunities for content innovation.

    Quality Assurance & Review

    • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, grammatical correctness, and compliance with style guidelines.

    • Conduct regular content audits and recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness and alignment with strategic goals.

    • And other duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

    Five or more years of professional copywriting experience, preferably within a government agency or corporate marketing environment.

    Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000
