    Business Systems Analyst II Salary $67,579.20 - $92,976.00 Annually Location San Bernardino, CA Job Type Full-time Department Multiple County Departments Job Number 18-01683-02 Closing 12/28/2018 5:00 PM Pacific The Job The County is recruiting for Business Systems Analysts II , who evaluate existing business processes, systems, and workflows and develop business applications to enhance delivery of departmental services. Assignments include studies in workflow and technology integration; projects requiring research, analysis, and solution development; and interacting with all levels of technical, administrative, and professional staff. Current vacancies exist in the Department of Behavioral Health. The resulting list will be used to fill current and future vacancies throughout the County. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Shift: Some positions require availability for night and swing shifts, weekends, and on-call, including holidays as needed. Indicate availability on application. Background Check: Prior to appointment, applicants must pass a background investigation and verification of employment history and education. Minimum Requirements Education: Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed college coursework in information technology, computer science, business administration or a closely related field. A list of coursework is required unless you have a bachelor's degree in a qualifying field. - AND - Experience: Two (2) years of experience performing IT business systems analysis or information systems analysis, including requirements gathering, end user acceptance testing, process mapping, workflow diagramming, documenting business rules, feasibility studies, and cost/benefit analysis. Substitution : One (1) year of additional qualifying experience may substitute for thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of education. Desired Qualifications The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience solving technical issues, interacting with end users and program developers, and acting in a lead capacity for other technical staff, in addition to providing infrastructure support. In addition to the above, the ideal candidate for the Department of Behavioral Health will possess a bachelor's degree in a qualifying field and experience as a project leader in the development of project priorities, plans and schedules, assigning project tasks to team members, monitoring project progress and providing status reports on low to moderately complex projects.
