The Healthcare Program Administrator manages business operations related to revenue generation; researches, analyzes and monitors legislation, regulations and program needs, develops guidelines, and implements processes, policy and procedural changes, monitors program effectiveness; establishes plans and strategies for improvements to efficiency and outcomes; performs utilization studies in order to standardize and reduce waste; act as liaison for CIP projects and state agencies. Minimum Requirements Experience: Three (3) years of experience conducting quality management, performance improvement or related activities in a healthcare setting. -AND- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration, Nursing, or a closely related field. An equivalent combination of qualifying experience and education may be considered at the discretion of Human Resources. Desired Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Master's in Business or Healthcare Administration with experience as a Surgery Center Manager or an Operating Room Operations Manager. This candidate will have previous management experience and knowledge of governmental and other regulatory standards, requirements, and guidelines such as The Joint Commission, Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Conditions of Participation, and Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of ongoing monitoring techniques, including criteria development and statistical analyses, and patient care delivery in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
