POSITION OVERVIEW: We’re looking for an experienced Java engineer with strong skills to join us in designing solid solutions to our clients’ challenges. This role offers a long term opportunity to develop critical operational platforms for a large technology company. Your initial project focus will be developing custom B2B tools based on a Java stack. As a Senior Developer, you will use your knowledge and skills to build stable, secure and performant applications that address critical business needs. This project team of senior developers is based on-site in Seattle, WA. We need excellent communicators that can work in a fast-paced environment and quickly assimilate new technologies. KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years’ experience in a professional development role
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Advanced experience as a full stack developer writing desktop and or web applications with Java
• Highly Proficient with Java
• SQL experience with JDBC
• Experience with PostgreSQL (DBA skills a plus)
• Experience developing APIs
• Experienced with microservice architectures
• Experience with Spring Boot, Servlet API, Play! or Vert.x
• Experienced at managing code with GitHub
• Comfortable with complex relational and non-relational data stores, or large code bases
• Passionate about clean, strongly documented, sematic code
• Self-motivated, great work habits and strong project management approach
• Flexible enough to roll with changing priorities and tight deadlines
• Creative problem-solver with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
