Comply with all company and customer safety and environmental policies and procedures, i.e. Lock Out, Tag Out; PPE, etc. Perform preventive maintenance per Compressco guidelines, including frequent washing of entire unit. Performs major and minor repairs as needed. Alert Supervisor of any major repairs needed or other concerns. i.e. health, safety and environmental. Complete work orders documenting work performed Actively participate in training programs. Performs other tasks and assist others as directed by supervisor. Maintain accurate inventory. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Work professionally with customers and other Compressco employees. Assist in training of new employees as directed by supervisor. Complete and submit appropriate paperwork as directed. Operates motor vehicle and travels from one location to another sometimes sitting for long periods of time. Comply with all safety standards and requirements to ensure a safe and hazard-free workplace. Other duties assigned. Requirements: Education: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Math Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Pass the required physical examination, including drug and alcohol screening. Possess and maintain a valid Drivers License and have reliable transportation. Some locations may require to have a Commercial Driver License. Should have at least 6 months of compressor maintenance experience, be capable of working independently with little supervision, be willing to work unusual hours, be willing to travel including overnight stays as required. Must have a professional appearance, good people skills, and good customer communications skills. Basic computer skills are helpful.
