    Investigations Oversight Support Specialist Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret SSBI (Single Scope Background Investigation) Suitability: No Suitability Required Job Family: Quality Assurance Job Description: CSRA , an emerging leader in the background investigations industry, will support a large national background investigations (BI) program that provides investigative products and services to departments and agencies of the federal government. BIs are required to determine an individuals suitability for employment with the federal government, eligibility for access to classified information, assignment to or retention in positions with sensitive duties, or other designated duties requiring such investigations. The investigations often involve personal and intimate details of an individuals life and must be processed and conducted with tact and discretion. Information collected by the investigator as part of the BI is protected under the Privacy Act of 1974. The Office of Personnel Management, Federal Investigative Services (OPM-FIS) provides investigative products and services for over 100 Federal agencies to use as the basis for suitability and security clearance determinations as required by Executive Orders and other rules and regulations. OPM provides over 90% of the Government's background investigations, conducting over two million investigations a year. CSRA provides field investigative support to OPM's Field Investigative Support program in safeguarding the nation by conducting nationwide background investigations on behalf of OPM. Investigations oversight support staff make up the program integrity group. The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to assisting the Integrity manager resolving client complaints, actions involving possible or substantiated investigator falsification or misconduct. Conduct record verification and source surveys. Work directly with investigative staff to resolve integrity rework cases. Essential Job Functions : * Coordinates activities of functional areas or of department account leads to ensure that business solution objectives are met * Assists in interpreting demand forecasts and in planning and delivering of end-to-end services * Maintains records of account specific service problems and assists in prioritizing work requests. * Assists in coordinating communications between lines of service (LOS) and clients to ensure that integration of new, enhanced and existing service offerings meet client specifications. * Assists in identifying service improvements to increase customer satisfaction * Ensures delivery of projects meet client and company expectations and needs Basic Qualifications : * Bachelor's degree in any discipline from and accredited college or university * Minimum of one year or more years of experience as a Background Investigator * Experience working with the technology industry * Working knowledge of the Office of Personnel Management Background Investigations * Experience working with company products and operating systems Other Qualifications * Must possess a current (within the last 2 years) Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Top Secret level security clearance * Experience working OPM program background investigation cases * Preferred experience working OPM contract integrity cases * Proficient oral and written communication * Must be able to successfully pass an OPM background investigation - * Basic project management skills * Basic analytical and problem solving skills * Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members * Organization and time management skills * Communication skills * Ability to work in a team environment * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) # of Openings: 1 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Telecommuting Options: Telecommuting Not Allowed Work Location: USA VA Falls Church - 3170 Fairview Park Dr, VTCB (VAS040) Additional Work Locations: CSRA is committed to creating a diverse environment and is an equal opportunity employer.
