Maximus is currently looking for a Data Operations Analyst to join our CA Lifeline Team!
The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting core data processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of operational workflows, and enabling business teams through high‑quality reporting and analysis. This role works closely with technology, operations, and business stakeholders to execute SQL queries, manage data files, support system changes, and provide documentation for audits and compliance needs.

This is a remote position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal and external communication and change processes, act as the primary point of contact.
- Work with functional area directors/managers and subject matter experts to define specific change requirements.
- Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements.
- Increase effectiveness of project documentation such as reports and client communication.
- Obtain status updates and resolve questions from operational areas.
- Draft clear and comprehensive business process documentation to support operational activities.
- Analyze and provide recommendations for internal process improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.
- Develop, execute and optimize SQL queries to support data extraction, validation and operational reporting needs
- Compile and prepare datasets used for audit documentation and compliance reviews
- Perform recurring and ad-hoc data analysis to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for process improvement
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements, configuration updates and new feature deployments
- Gather and document acceptance criteria for change notices, working in partnership with business and technical teams
- Support code migration activities by validating data impacts and coordinating with development teams
- Manage the upload and download of outbound dialer files ensuring accuracy, version control and timely completion
- Monitor file processing workflows and troubleshoot errors or exceptions as needed
- Generate scheduled and recurring operational reports for internal stakeholders
- Validate report accuracy and ensure alignment with business requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced degree or professional designation preferred.
Program Specific Requirements:
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries and scripts
- Ability to conduct user acceptance testing for all development efforts across programs
- Provide audit support, including querying the database for customer records and attachments
- Place auto dialer files each business day for processing
- Gather acceptance criteria for all deliverable expectation documents upon release to production
- Provide release support including post-production validation
Program Specific Preferences:
- At least 2 years of experience with CA Lifeline

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
