Total graduate study must have included or been supplemented by a supervised internship. Additional Requirements for the GS-12 level: * Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: providing career/vocational counseling; developing diagnosis and treatment plans; conducting case management, referral, and service coordination; performing job analysis, job development, and placement services; working in the community in activities such as engaging Veterans in job exploration, job developing, and networking. Preferred Qualifications: * Certification as Rehabilitation Counselor. * Experience with disabilities that include Spinal Cord Injury, Serious Mental Illness, PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury. * Experience with accreditations such as CARF and JCAHO.
