    Review Appraiser - Lakewood, CO - Overview Summary This position is located in the Regional Loan Center (RLC). The Review Appraiser is responsible for oversight duties for an assigned multi-state jurisdiction. This includes reviewing and auditing appraisals of residential properties and compliance inspection reports as well as a full range of construction and valuation matter affecting the VA Loan Guaranty Program. OR A Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. To be creditable, such education must demonstrate the competencies necessary to do the work; OR Equivalent combinations of Specialized Experience and Graduate level education. [To compute, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond 1 year by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify.] GS-11 Level specialized experience: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-09) in the normal line of progression for this occupation. Specialized experience is defined as experience with a wide range of appraisal concepts, principles and practices to appraise properties with complex characteristics; analyze complicated valuation problems; and resolve value problems with properties with limited comparable sales. OR Three years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. To be creditable, such education must demonstrate the competencies necessary to do the work; OR Equivalent combinations of Specialized Experience and Graduate education. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify.] Graduate Education: Education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university in the amounts shown in the table meets the requirements for positions at GS-9 through GS-11.
