The Education Compliance Survey Specialist GS-1801-10 position is located in St. Louis, MO; and the St. Paul, MN; Cleveland, OH out-based locations of the St. Louis Veterans Benefits Administration, St. Louis Regional Office, St. Louis, MO. As the Education Compliance Survey Specialist for the Veteran Benefits Administration you will serve as a Compliance Survey Specialist representing the educational interest of the Agency with regard to the payment of benefits to veterans. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Two and one half years (equivalent to 45 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree (such as LL.M.) Or Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify. To calculate, first identify the percentage of required education you have earned. When substituting you can use graduate level education you have earned beyond a Bachelor's Degree. Then identify the percentage of required experience you possess. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify at the GS-10.
