Health System Specialist (GHATP Trainee) - Tuscaloosa, AL - Overview Summary The GHATP Program is a 12-month experience under the preceptorship of the Director Office. Upon successful completion of the training program, Recent Graduates are eligible for non-competitive conversion to a permanent or term appointment into a position within the VA health care system. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
