TRADE SETTLEMENTS CONTRACTOR

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage post-trade processing to ensure timely resolution of trade settlement issues
• Escalate issues with broker dealers, custodians and Traders, as needed
• Liaise with other departments to address trade related inquires
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives and projects as needed, including due diligence on new asset classes
• Identify workflow/system improvements and work with technology and operations team to enact change
• Assist in opening local sub-custody accounts for our 40 Act and UCITS funds
• Assist in opening securities and FX trading accounts with broker dealers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience with trade settlements across a wide spectrum of domestic and international asset classes, including equities, bonds, FX and derivatives
• Strong working knowledge of the full range of DTC ITP applications required; GTSS, BBH infomediary, and Eagle STAR preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, reliable and proactive
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow established work processes and meet strict deadlines
